A Story About The Kat:

Hello and welcome to our new website. My name is Jeff Amlong and I'm the founder  and owner of Wild Kat Productions, that I started on July 19, 1989. By the summer of 1996, I was burned out and was sick of it all. I closed the doors and ended the production company. "I Killed The Kat"

On July 19, 2005, I was going to re-launch the website and re-start the production company. Then in January of 2006, I decided to close doors to Wild Kat Productions forever! "Never say forever" I just re-launched the company and website on July 4, 2009. "The Kat Lives Again!" It's been a long and bumpy road since the beginning... No one said, it would be easy!

In 2008 I also launched a new website called IndieResourceGuide.Com to be a resource to help indie filmmakers do what they love, and that is, make films!

The message of this story is: "You Can Do Anything, That You Put Your Mind Too, just do it! "Don't let anyone talk you out of it, including yourself"... I like to think of it, this way... "It's not how you play the game, but how you get back-up after you get the shit kicked-out of you". - Jeff Amlong
